Breeding Information
To date, Flynn has had seven known breedings, with three live foals and four expected in 2010. All foals to date are coloured fillies, two are loudly coloured. See Flynt Hylls Gypsy Rayne, Trista, and Trixie for examples of what Flynn produces.
Flynn’s Semen Counts in 2008: Collects 70mL of semen with 90% motility at collection, 40% motility on cooled semen after 48 hours. 175 million sperm per 1 mL. That’s a total of 9.8 billion motal sperm. Wow! Go Flynn!

Mare care is $8 a day for a dry mare, $10 a day for a wet mare and includes hay and grain. If your mare has special needs additional fees may apply. Mares coming to the farm to be bred will require a current Coggins (6 months) and health cert (30 days).

MARE CARE - the daily cost you pay for feed and care of your mare
WET MARE -a lactating mare (mare nursing a foal)
DRY MARE - a mare that has no foal by her side
CULTURE - usually refers to a uterine culture. Some stallion owners require this so they know a mare is not carrying a uterine infection.
HAND BREEDING - the process of breeding a mare that is usually tied or held by one person while the stallion is lead to breed the mare.
PASTURE BREEDING - when a stallion is kept in a pasture and the visiting mare is released in the pasture to be bred at the stallions convenience.
PRIVATE TREATY - a not public contract that has specific fees that are negotiated between stallion and mare owners privately.
LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE - a guarantee that a foal resulting from the contracted breeding will be born alive, stand and nurse on his own once. From that point on the stallion owner has no responsibility to breed that mare again for the originally specified stud fee.
AI (Artificial Insemination) - The act of breeding a mare by manually collecting semen from the donating stallion and inserting into the mare.
Collection Fee - The fee charged by a veterinarian for manually collecting semen for artificial insemination of a mare.
